“devenir femme”: from performativity to photography pretending
Abstract
In this essay, I try to analyze how the characters of transvestites/ drags/ queers, marginal and recurrent characters in the works of Al Berto, especially in the first books, and a simple critic of the Baudelairean shock teach, with their gender performance, a performing of Al Berto's writing and throw light, as "scene of fulgor" (Llansol 1998: 130), on the cover image of the book O medo.
