Reescritas e palinódia na poética de Joaquim Manuel Magalhães

Abstract

The work of Joaquim Manuel Magalhães, Portuguese poet, undergoes a gradual radicalization of the rewriting until the assumption of the palinode. The refusal of his works takes place in 2010 when Magalhães publishes Um Toldo Vermelho. The following work aims to understand the course of refusal and establishment of the palinode in the work of Magalhães, as well as its rewriting based on revisions of terms, presence of images and more poetic sonorities, elimination of a considerable part of the poem and consequent change of meaning. The description and analysis of the palinode and of the enumeration, embraced by Um Toldo Vermelho poetic personas, will generate some interpretative hypothesis of the aesthetics transformations of Magalhães’ poetry.
